Last May at the same venue, Rogan now a Belfast hero who is classed by many as a real-life Rocky - was only seconds from victory and retaining his Commonwealth Heavyweight title in the eighth round as Sexton was out on his feet. It appeared that referee Dave Parris would step in to save the English man.
Instead Rogan got a warning for hitting behind the head and when the action recommenced Sexton appeared to spit his gum shield out to give him some valuable seconds.
Despite Rogan on top in the fight the referee called another time out for the doctor to check Rogan's eye and following his advice Parris stopped the fight because of huge swelling under his left eye.
Now boxing promoters have done the right thing and got the fight on again, or is it?
Talk is that the fight may be postponed as promoters try and accommodate Duddy Vs Sinclair as a semi main event.
