ProKick's new 'Fight Club' kick-off again for part II of their HARD Sparring-come-Fight, on Wednesday 25th. Most of the New Breed were challenged in the ring last week for a three round bout against two fresh opponents per round. This week was no different. The new fighters were there to fight for selection, hoping to joining ProKick's experienced fighters on the June 10th Thai-Tanic bill at the Holiday Inn Belfast.

On the 18/0412 the new Prokick Fight Club for wannabes fighters had their first taste of HARD Sparring/Fight, Wednesday 18th. Most of the New Breed were challenged in the ring for three rounds with some two and one full round and all with four fresh opponents per round. The new fighters were there to gain selection in the hope of joining ProKick's experienced fighters on the June 10th Thai-Tanic bill at the Holiday Inn Belfast.
This exercise was geared to be as close to a fight as possible – medical staff put all participants through a Pre-Fight medical and then attended at ringside for the whole session.
Matches were made by weight and experience. Medics had a busy night as they ensured
safety first in the ring, this side of Kickboxing 'the competitive side' is a full-contact sport and at times people do get bumps and bruises.
Best wishes to Steve Forde, a young ProKick kickboxer from Hollywood Co.Down, he was on the receiving end of a Full-turning back kick by Johnny Smith which landed to the jaw of the office worker Forde. Steve suffered a broken jaw from the result of the kick. After x-rays it was clear Steve sustained a hair-line break and subsequently is spending the night in hospital. He is reported as comfortable and resting and not talking much, I wonder why! More on this later.
This is Steve Forde right after taking the kick, joking as normal.
Results will not be made public until later in the week -- Who will make the fight card!?
Do you want to Fight, then here’s what you need to do.
