Hi
Just what is going on in the UFC World at the moment, yet another drug scandal has emerged with one of their biggest stars and current Light Heavy Weight Champion involved once again.
Jon Jones who was given a by ball in December after testing positive for Cocaine as he was out of competition at the time has brought disgrace and humiliation upon himself again. Appearing in Court following a RTC when he fled the scene leaving a pregnant lady injured, his car was found to contain Marijuana .
Spoken to by Dana White CEO of the UFC, Jones has now been stripped of his title and suspended by the UFC, Daniel Cormier has now stepped into Jones’s boots to take on Anthony (Rumble) Johnson on the 23rd May at UFC 187 in Las Vegas. Cormier is indeed a brave man to take on Rumble Johnson at short notice, a man in top form and a devastating kicker and puncher Rumble was fancied to take the title of Jones after his recent devastating displays against top opposition which
included a 1st round knock out of Swede Gudjohnson.
This latest scandal follows hot on the heels of another legend Brazilian Anderson Silva failing a drug test, not to mention Cung Lees drug failure after the Michael Bisping fight.
Dana White has acted properly and swiftly to safeguard the reputation of the UFC , the new drug testing regulations he has already announced are due to start soon. In effect Olympic style drug testing of fighters in and out of competition is due to start in July with severe penalties and long bans for fighters testing positive, this will coincide with the new Sponsorship deal between the UFC and Reebok. It looks like it cannot come soon enough Performace Enhancing drugs and recreation drugs have no place in any Sport, especially not in a Contact Sport, someone could lose their life. Keep up the good work Mr White, UFC will be all the better for it. Regards.
nd knock out of Swede

Hi
Don’t forget to watch ITV tonight 10.40pm Carl Frampton fight preview, and again on Saturday night 10 .50pm ITV the big fight live from Belfast as Carl defends his World Title.
I know it’s a bit late for our young Pro Kickers so Mum , Dad hit the record button for them. You do not want to miss this as the way things are going in Boxing it could be his first and last live fight on TV before the big money men demand the fights go pay per view as they start to call the shots.
So enjoy this one and hopefully young Frampton can go onto achieve a reputation as a big time World Boxing pound for pound Champion.
Regards.
Brian.

Hi
Every now and then a special talent in the sporting world comes along, usually they are professionals and receive plaudits , wealth and fame. However a rarer more special talent in World Sport has just happened and you probably know nothing about this unique athletes incredible achievement.
Why ! It could be because the person in question is an Amateur Athlete, Ìrish, Female, and a Boxer of such talent I cannot express in words my admiration of what she has just achieved.
Ķatie Taylor the young Irish Lightweight boxer from Bray , yesterday strutted her stuff in South Korea to win a record equalling 5th consectutive Gold Medal at lightweight and World Championship Title . She won unanimously against Yana Allekseeva of Azerbaijan . Katie is still only 28 years old and this
was Katies 17th Major Title, she is the current Olympic
Champion, to go with her 6 European , 5 Eu, and now 5 World
Titles , to sit alongside numerous Irish Honours , an incredible
tally of belts and now offically a legend in World Amatuer
Boxing and she’s Irish.
Can’t help but wonder what publicity yesterdays’ news would
have got on TV - Media if she’d been born English. We should
all be very proud of this young lady, Katie , if by some
remote chance you might read this, here at Prokick, Mr Murray is allways looking for fighters, so, if you fancy trying Kick
Boxing give us a shout. Regards.
