Six Of The Best
It was the penultimate week of Level 3 sparring as the class really came into its own. Despite the class starting with 20 keen kickers only a handful managed to make it to the final week, and despite a let down by their team mates. Last weeks Magnificent Seven from the group of 20 was reduced to six-of-the-best. The third level sparring course focused on knee striking and clinching.

Hi Chris, the Knee move is to hit firstly the head then secondly the body..
Mr Murray demonstrates it perfectly using multiple knees to the sides of your opponent…effective..
These also a quick short hop to use the left knee by pulling your opponent down by placing your hands on the side of the head and pulling down…But you’ll get on to it soon enough chris..

This was a really hands on class tonight, loads of grabbing and pulling and getting the knee in, and so good and effective particulary when in a situation that sees you close to your opponent…
some good moves too learnt here on how to free yourself from such moves also..
A really good class and very invigorating particulary when you hit the ring, and crikey have we as a class moved on so much from months ago, but still many many years still to go..
