The two ProKick fighters are well prepared for Switzerland, as Smith-n-McBlain both fought warm-up bouts last Sunday (September 30th) in London. McBlain won by KO in the first round with Smith having to settle for a draw even though ringsiders thought the east Belfast man Smith had done enough to get the nod from the judges.
Karl McBlain will square up against Lausanne's, Sébastien Fleury from Team Kongolo over 3x2 min rounds under K1 rules. Whilst Karl's team mate, Johnny Smith faces another Lausanne fighters Anthony Riggio uder K1 kickboxing rules.
There will be a Professional boxing on display with local hero Patrick Kinigamazi from club Pugilistic Carouge, Kinigamazi will face tough Hungarian boxer Janos Vass over 6x3 min rounds.
Besides these two professional fights on the big Swiss fight-Card, athletes from Switzerland, Northern Ireland and France will make up the rest of the event in a 10 fight spectacular!
Weigh-ins will took place last night Friday, October 5 at the Rotisserie Alps in Villars for the professionals. And for the amateurs, 17:30 to 18:30 at the sports centre of Villars (Tennis) road to the Col-de-la-Croix.
Medicals will also be conducted at this time.
