The aim of 'Belfast Boxing Ring' is to mark officially the contribution which the sport of boxing has made to the City of Belfast. The project is will acknowledge and celebrate those citizens who through boxing excellence have brought pride to the city.
This will be achieved through a series of exhibitions, murals, plaques and statues throughout the city.

The story about Boxing in Belfast is to be told - A major project telling the story of boxing in Belfast is due to be launched in September. The City Hall has agreed to host an exhibition for the whole of September which is hoped will be the biggest tribute to boxing in the city.
