The Belfast star made world news on Saturday night with his remarkable upset win at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, where he stopped Skelton in the eleventh round of a brutal but exciting fight to capture the Commonwealth heavyweight title.
The 37-year-old's fairytale story from a Belfast cab driver to champion has captured the hearts of the public all over the world. Although unbeaten, Rogan shot to prominence by winning the inaugural Prizefighter tournament last year (an 8 man winner takes all tournament) and then really hit the big-time when he beat 2000 Olympic champion Audley Harrison which set him up for showdown against Skelton.
BBC’s Jim Neilly will portray the best of the action as part of a specially extended "Season Ticket" documentary - The Breen Team - about the gym where Rogan learned his skills.

What a super show on Breens Gym, theres nothing like watching items about home grown talent..
John Breen has a long history in boxing, from himself being a contender to training up new talent..his dream and quite deservedly is to have a world champion from the central belfast gym, and he may well have one in the making in the form of The Entertainer (Martin Rogan)
what a punch this guy has, and super stamina and now the Commonwealth Champion…
From being a hard working Taxi driver to the commonweatlh title…thats how we here at home can do it…
So glad i took the time out with a cuppa tea to relax and watch this programme..although watching Martins fight it was hard to keep the tea in the cup.
