MMA Giants merge - It has finally happened, the UFC and WEC have merged. The exciting news was announced by Dana White on Thursday 28th October at a press conference in Las Vegas. The UFC has surely made the right move here as it now adds two more weight divisions. They will be the featherweight division at over 135 lbs to 145 lbs and the bantamweight division at over 125 lbs to 135 lbs. Reported by Richard Collett.
