The Belfast WKN world champion Ursula Agnew hit the scales at the championship weight of 58.5kg whilst the challenger, German champion Caroline Abe of Berlin hit the weight at .5kg over. However, this is allowed under the WKN rules in order for scale tolerance.
The Weigh-in was over and the pair tucked in to a spot of dinner at the same table. Very dignified, for now that is:
"I'm sure that will all change come Fight-Time. This will be a great match. Said promoter Billy Murray.
Another weigh-in will take place at the Holiday Inn tonight at 9.30pm when Team Kongolo arrive - more on this later.
