November 2011 will see fighters from all over the world making their way to Ireland’s capital as the World Association of Kickboxing Organisations has chosen Dublin to host the 2011 World WAKO Kickboxing Championships.
This will be the first time the world championships have been held in Ireland and will be one of the largest International sporting events ever to be held in the contury. Over 800 world class athletes from over forty different countries will be traveling with their coaches and back room team mates. They will travel to Ireland to test their skill at the highest level and compete to win the highly coveted WAKO World Championships Title.

The WAKO World Kickboxing games have just been confirmed to take place in Ireland for 2011 ProKick.com can confirm. The event will take place in Dublin between 20th and 27th November in City West Hotel and Conference Centre, Dublin.
