Mr Osman Yigin the WKN representative was assaulted at ringside when he was punched by Erhan Deniz of Turkey in the face because the decision did not go his way. Osman, Belgium's former world Muay Thai champion now turned WKN co-ordinator faced a very dangerous situation and received very little support as millions watched in disbelief.
Mr Cabrera said: " First and foremost our work and duty with WKN is to promote sport along with our universal values which are respect, loyalty and friendship between countries and different cultures from all walks of life around the world.
We cannot and will not let such a situation like this happen again, that is just unacceptable!Now we have to wait for the proposal for disciplinary action from the National Federation, and the Minister of sport from Turkey."

WKN (World Kickboxing Network) have temporarily suspended all activities in Turkey due an act of lunacy and extremely bad sportsmanship by a fighter on a LIVE televised kickboxing event. WKN senior judge and Co-ordinator Mr Yigin Osman was punched by Erhan Deniz in the face when the decision was given as he failed to win the world title over Slavo Polugic of Switzerland.

an absolute discrace,most fighters end up on the wrong side of a decision at sone time in their career you just have to take it on the chin and move on.
