The Italian was wary of Brooks power now and came out with flying a knee attack to open a cut over Brooks left eye but Brooks connected with a viscious right hook and floored him for another count in the second. The crowd were on their feet screaming now and both men went it at in the third but come the final bell Brooks had done enough and was declared World Amatuer K-1 Style Heavyweight Champion.
