Young ProKick fighter David Bird can be seen here landing a hard low leg kick against Swiss opponent Mattio Lo Valvo in his K1 style bout at the sold out St patrick's Day Bash at The Holiday Inn, Belfast.

David, the younger of the Bird brothers fought in a frantic and fast paced battle against Swiss fighter Mattio Lo Valvo from Carl Emery's gym in Switzerland.

From the very first bell, both fighters turned the dial to 110% as punch combinations, knee strikes and flamboyant kicks were thrown, with Bird dropping his opponent to the canvas in the first round with a hard uppercut.

David is one of the youngest fighters in Billy Murray's ProKick stable but is already being tipped as one to watch.
