Sunday is usually a day for kicking back and relaxing in front of the telly whilst waiting on Sunday Roast being set on your knee but for ProKick wannabe fighters they gave it all up for 3x2 minute rounds of non stop hard hitting action and the Sunday roast was the last thing on their minds.

Hi All - Keep your comments coming please.
Our Insurance rep will be at the gym next Wednesday 24th June 6.45pm. He’ll be at the ProKick for an hour or so and yes knowing Mr Kelly it may be even longer.
He will give advise of different plans available and will supply immediate cover from one of the top companies in the world.
I’d like to take this opportunity to wish all who’ve been injured of late a speedy recovery. And to insure every one that we at ProKick have one of the best safety records in the business. Kickboxing is a contact sport and more so our sparring classes, Our level 2 and level 3 to fighters classes are extremely physical. But saying that accidents are rare at ProKick! But they do happen and that’s why we insist that all fighters take the coverage along with any of our members - not just the members who enjoy the more contact side of the sport - sparring.
All are welcome to attend to meet up with Mr Kelly to find out more.
Drop me a PM if any of you have any queries
Billy Murray
PS> Tickets are out soon for the August 16 event, that’s our ’ Next Generation event. Our New fighters pages will be on-line soon.

With Kickboxing being a contact sport (if your taking it to the level of sparring / fighting etc) then there is a higher risk of maybe getting the odd injury.
Unfortunately you moved into Stuarts hook as well, it was to be honest a bit of a freak accident, I’ve been training down the gym for a good few years now and I’ve never seen anything like that happen before; it was almost a bit of a fluke.
I hope it doesn’t put you off as your doing very very well, you’ve come on so much over the last few months along with everyone else.
I would say to everyone to get their own Personal Accident cover, this option was given to everyone in the sparring classes and only a few took it out. If you want any details on it give me a shout or Mr Murray.
I know the feeling as well, I’ve had my nose broken on several occassions - it hasn’t put me off and I’m aware there may be the odd injury along the way, but in reality its very very rare as things are always closely monitored and controlled.
Plus - there will be plenty of other stags and weekends away, saying that you could go and get some great attention from the ladies!!! Oh - I think you could come up with a few good stories to go with the nose LOL,
Anyway - glad your feeling better.
