Ken Horan lifts another major title in a non-stop action packed fight that had fight-fans wanting more. Prokickers Johnny Smith and Darren McMullen also were on the right side of the judges at the Grimbsy Martial Arts Academy show in England. It was on Sunday May 22nd when all three emerged victorious in their kickboxing bouts on the show staged in Grimsby. ProKick's adopted son Ken Horan from Galway topped the bill.

We will bring you photographs and video later on Monday.
Both Ken Horan and his opponent John Lee weighed in at 74.5kg

Johnny Smith and Darren Mcmullen weighed in comfortable as did their oppoenents.

The team retired for a well deserved short rest and some food before heading to the venue for the matches.

IT'S FIGHT TIME:

Darren McMullen wins on points against Taz from Primal kickboxing.

The 24 year old joiner, won on a unanimous points decision, his opponent dropped kicks in all rounds and was minus a point for holding. Darren was clearly on top throughout the fight and said he can't wait until the next one.

Johnny Smith the Gasman, was certainly on fire tonight. he had the young Englishman Jordan Webster another fighter from Primal kickboxing in trouble throughout the 1st, 2nd and 3rd round. But couldn't nail the finishing blow to the tough Englishman.

Johnny showed good ringcraft, and was warmly received by the packed house at the Grimsby martial Arts show.

Ken Horan (Winner) Vs John Lee

Ken lifts another European title in an non stop 7 round brutal fight, Ken started like a man out of a sprint block and finished the same way at the end of the final round 7th. It's a testimony to the 40 year old's fitness. He out worked John Lee and won on a unanimous decision.

Credit to john Lee as he absorbed some savage shots for 7 rounds. The Englishman Lee was dangerous at times with looping right hands and uppercut which found the mark occasionally to the Irishman's chin but not often enough to do any real damage.

The Galway Fighter was never taking second place tonight he set the peace of the fight and never let up until he was crowned King of Europe - another belt to his growing collection...What's next?
