Six weeks sparring completed- IMAGE
Ding-Dong the Level 1 sparring class ends for beginners as it was the final week for the 6pm class on Wednesday the 16th Feb. The wannabe kickboxers all proved they have the staying power and the dedication to hear-out the final bell. The motley crew were put through their final nerve wrecking evening as week 6 saw all the finalist step into the ring for a round-robin for a hard 3 minute round with three team mates one after the other.
What happens next:
Level 2 sparring, which will teach aspects of low leg kickboxing as well as advanced ring craft will be open for registration now.
The contact level will be exactly the same throughout as it was in level 1 and the emphasis is on technique not brawn.
This class is just a sparring class NOT a fighters class and is designed for the kickboxing enthusiast who wants to step up another level and have a sparring session with the understanding that it is in a controlled environment and a class for non competitors - IMPORTANT, if anyone wishes to become a competitor please talk with your instructor.
The class starts from 6pm - 7.00 pm the 23rd Feb and takes place at Prokick HQ, Wilgar Street.
(Competitors please stick to fighter classes only`)
