Well Ricky, firstly although i was nervous again, i knew what to expect, secondly i knew i had to pace myself for the 2 rounds

Mr Murray had told us that we needed to think about what we were doing in the ring, think about our punches and kicks and move and weave more…

this time we had to hit and not get hit..like im sure you will agree ricky, last week we were all fired up with the old male testosterone and felt we had to look great in the ring at all costs…

this time i knew what i had to do, it was not a case of just getting a punch in, or a kick, it had to be the right punch and the right kick otherwise whats the point, and this is what i tried my best to do, and although it may not look the best, it felt completly different…
i really honestly enjoyed my 2 rounds in the ring and really got a buzz of total satisfaction, and for some odd reason it has taken that fear factor edge of it and made me realise that if you try your best to perform what your taught, you can really enjoy it…

so im going to try and look at least somewhat respectable on sunday when i go against the best..and this proves my fear has reduced as before wednesday night i would not have ever possibly imagined entering the ring with these guys…
but i know they are there for practice, they are not out to hurt a beginner but to hone their own combinations etc and what better way to do that than with a live opponent
(who yells when hurt).

i know your kicking yourself for missing it ricky, but I, Mr Murray and im sure the class know what your well capable off, and its better your fighting fit next week than to have strained your old injury..

you and dave leave a hole in the front rows…get back quick, oh and davy was not there either..though i think he said he was getting ready for the states or something..

Any news on the bash n mash then?

I’ll show you the new dvd and you will hopefully see what i mean about the right kind of kicks, punches and movement compared to the first week, well i hope so, i aint seen it yet, although Mr Murray and His Daughter (sorry forgot her name) think i was a lot improved on last week.

chat soon
