Lisa Mulholland became a kickboxing fan at an early age when she was attending the Ulster Hall big fight nights in the mid 80’s. She is an assistant instructor and has helped cover many classes across Belfast also helping in the kid classes Saturday mornings. Lisa is a general all round busy-bee at the ProKick HQ. Lisa has helped Organize and worked behind the scenes in lots of ProKick events and is a moderator on the ProKick website, also ProKick’s resident photographer.
Her daughter Katdie McAlees was a green belt and her son Matthew got to junior brown belt.

Further information about Lisa Mulholland:
What got you interested in kickboxing?
It was inbred - my daddy was a Jujitsu Master, he used to train people in the army, and my uncle is a four times world champion kickboxer<how could I not.
What do your family think about it?
My mum and granny think i do too much as do my kids. My uncle is glad I do it and have stuck it so long.
What do you enjoy about it?
I love everything about it, I love being here, love the people in it. Its like an extension of my own family - its not very often you have a passion and get to chance to be so involved in it.
What are your future ambitions?
I would like to be more involved in the teaching aspects - at the moment I teach the kids on a Saturday morning and training for my Black Belt.
What are your hobbies outside of kickboxing?
I don’t have any cause I live in here!! But I would like to walk, do yoga, photograph beautiful places drink coffee, and sleep!
Favorite food?
Anything Italian And chocolate.
Favorite healthy food?
Chicken salad vegetable goulash
Favorite song/ artist?
I'm pretty vesitile I love most music although my favorite has to be Take That I also love R&B Destiny’s Child.
Favorite film?
My all-time favorite is Little Women. “The Fault in our Stars” Di Vinci code anything with action conspiracy or that you have to think about.
Favorite holiday destination?
I love Greece and Prague but have always wanted to go to Rome as I love history and architecture Prague would be my first choice.
What can make you annoyed?
Very little, I`m not easily annoyed (apart from my Uncle Billy sometimes, but don’t mention that).
If you had a million pounds what would you buy first?
I`d build a new gym for ProKick.
Do you have any children?
I have two kids, Matthew 17, and Katdie 15 - both at Ashfield Secondary School . Matthew is brown belt and Katdie is green belt.
What is your occupation/job?
Jack of all trades and master of none at ProKick Gym…or so I`m told! Photographer,receptionist runner
Anything else you`d like to add?
Prokick is not only a sports club. I would highly recommend that anyone gives it a go - the people who come here are second to none.
