What got you interested in kickboxing?
I began just over two years ago because I brought my son Daryl here due to his interest in the sport. Ironically, it was me who ended up staying while my son became a professional drummer!

What are your future ambitions?
I have two ambitions within the sport of kickboxing; to achieve my black belt and to fight in front of a live audience.

What do your family think of you kickboxing?
To a certain extent they are very supportive and proud. In another sense, however, there is a reluctance to accept my desire to step into the ring. That being said, they probably appreciate the fact that  I take my foul temper out on people at ProKick, such as Gary Fullerton!

What are your hobbies outside of kickboxing?
In my general life I am a mother to my golden boy Daryl-James and I love going to Heavy Metal gigs with my husband - I`ve featured on a Heavy Metal album by the band `War Iron` as a guest vocalist. I occasionally D.J. on the Belfast metal scene. I also love running, tattoos, reading, painting and writing poetry.

What makes you annoyed?
Its hard to narrow it down but conformity is up there as a front-runner! Get me on Room 101 and I`ll spill the beans!

If you had a million pounds what would you buy first?
In response to this question I do not have a specific answer. There are too many factors to take into account. My focus in life is my son and so much of the money would be geared towards him. I would also desire to organise a means for all animals, who would have ordinarily been slaughtered for people to eat, to live out their lives in luxury. The rest of the money I would use to cure the ills of the world and to organise tutors to instruct the general public how to correctly use the apostrophe.

I have been married for over 13 years to Stephen.
