PROKICK fighters Darren McMullan, Stuart Jess and Adam Peel all had mixed it up K1 and Thai style at London's Venom event. The event Staged by SimplyFreddie promotions at the Coronet Night club at the Elephant and Castle. The trio ensured Prokick could hold their own against London's top fighters at the Mixed Martial Art and Fight Show on Friday 27th April. Middleweight Darren McMullan was the only Prokick fighters to experience defeat – McMullen narrowly lost on a close points decision after a controversial knockdown in the second which seen the Dundonald man take a standing count which cost him the fight in a hard fought fight by both fighters. McMullen's Coach, Billy Murray said: " A knock-down is classed when a fighter is put to the canvas with a result of a strike and that's what happened to Darren even if he was off balance which Darren was from the result of a kick he made - we had no dispute, it was the call of the Referee to count him to on the chin and more on. Marcus made a good fight, well done TEAM Redragonz." Prokick head coach Billy Murray said: “It was a great experience for our kickboxers to be invited by another promoter.
