Hamilton, the WKN featherweight champ, went nose to nose with Londoner Marty Cox Jnr, holder of rival ISKA governing body crown in front of K1-Kickboxing legend ‘Mr Perfect’ Ernesto Hoost at the Belfast’s Holiday Inn. The pair were on hand to mark the unveiling of the Seven Wonders event, set for the city’s Waterfront Hall on December 1.

Respect: There was no growling, hackling or even prancing around like peacocks which is sometimes associated with BIG fights – instead both boys were singing each others praises and acted all the professional sports men they are. And when the time is right these two top fighters will throw the switch and no doubt go war!

The event is hugely significant as it will see Five world titles up for grabs on one star-studded, explosive card. What makes it more mouth-watering is that the majority of the bouts will feature fighters from Belfast’s ProKick Gym, further evidence that the city is the powerhouse of European kickboxing.

Also present at the launch today was ‘Mr Perfect’ Ernesto Hoost. The kickboxing legend said he was looking forward to the event and would be sure to make his way to Belfast on December 1 to be ringside. ‘Mr Perfect’ will be in Japan on Dec 7 and added, he will do his best to be in Belfast for this big fight.
