Belfast’s favourite kickboxing son Gary Hamilton came face to face with the man determined to strip him of his crown today (August 25) – and the expected sparks between the pair did not fly. Well not yet!

Respect: There was no growling, hackling or even prancing around like peacocks which is sometimes associated with BIG fights – instead both boys were singing each others praises and acted all the professional sports men they are. And when the time is right these two top fighters will throw the switch and no doubt go war!

Also present at the launch today was ‘Mr Perfect’ Ernesto Hoost. The kickboxing legend said he was looking forward to the event and would be sure to make his way to Belfast on December 1 to be ringside. ‘Mr Perfect’ will be in Japan on Dec 7 and added, he will do his best to be in Belfast for this big fight.
