Coach and former world champion Billy Murray tests his students through a variety of games that incorporate the use of kickboxing manoeuvres and skills.
" We have three level of classes at the Prokick gym for kids every Saturday – Beginners to yellow belts, then orange and green belt levels and finally blue to brown belt experienced level. We started this a few months ago and found it has helped increased the standard of the kids not just in the class activities but in competition too.”
Murray added, “ At our Prokick Says day the aim is doing something different for the younger members of the gym, which helps eliminate any stress or built up aggression the children may have. This also helps the children focus toward their grading syllabus. "They don’t see it as a test they see it as an occasion to have a laugh and step outside their disciplined class for a day and have FUN.”

On top of having a good time and passing grades and taking part in healthy competition, the teeny-tiny kickboxers get special one-to-one coaching from some of Prokick’s world champions.
“We have a lot of talented kids coming through the gym and if we can help give them the focus, not just for kickboxing but other sports too then it’s an added bonus to see them excel in sport.”
