@ Billy:
I sent you an e-mail but what I forgot to mention was mainly what I drink, which would be tea or water.
Any advice will be great. Thanks

I’ve read the part about helping people find the right “regime” for individuals and that’s something I need help with right now. Because I’m not what some one would conciser “unhealthy” I am a normal weight for my age and height but that’s for the average person and so when I tell people that I need to change my diet they all tell me “you’re not fat, you don’t need one” and so no one helps but what they don’t get is that I’m not changing my diet because I’m fat or anything like that but it’s because I want to be healthier and in better shape as a fighter (though I have yet to officially fight in the ring yet, my first amateur fight is the first of this up-coming April and I want to be in shape) I need help designing a eating plan and exercise plan that fits my busy life here in Japan (food is different here). My goal is to replace whatever fat I have with muscles, increase my endurance and learn better training strategies (and of course become healthier and have fun! ) Can Anyone help? ( my 3rd post on this site) (((((( ProKick Edit - that’s a big ask and to be fair. It’s what all fighters should do or aspire to do… A couple of questions first. Have you asked your trainer/ coach for this info? The Gym you train from - are there other fighters more experienced you could talk to? Send me your height, weight now, your fight weight and style of your fight - rounds etc, also send me what your training regime is now over a week and finally your diet, everything over a general day from start to finish include drinks. Send it to me Billy Murray at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) - I’ll take a look at it for you - Bm )))))

Good luck and Welcome to all the New Prokickers..
Welcome back Rafal, glad to see you back in the gym, take it easy though..
Anyone know were Crazy Chick (Christine) has been, we aint seen her in classes or sparring..?
Soooo who’s even more sore now…me!
It was good exercise and stretching tonight if not very hard and sore, but that was what i call feeling the burn, that one were the backs straight, knees bent and kicking…oh boy was that sore..
Mr Murray is right though, we are now moving on very well as a class and as moves become more demanding we need to be more flexable..so plenty of practicing at home and eventually we should be able to perfrom many more complex high kicks etc..
it really does make a difference though when you warm up right and stretch..its feels so much easier to perform moves..
I Reckon im going to be in a little pain over the next few days, i felt burning in muscles i thought i never had..so i suppose thats a good thing then..
Well done class.

Talk about sTRETchhhhhhing..wow
tonights class was our normal exercise in our warm up then the next thing we knew all emphasis was on our legs..
Stretching it here there and everywere..and it was really good, if not hard and sore at times, but this is what we really really need to do more of..and i know the class will shout at me,but Mr Murray if your listening…more please..
But honestly, in my own opinion some of the moves we perform are quite hard, not because they are complicated but simply because i dont have the movement others have, i cant get my leg as high as i would like to and if i was able to i know my kickboxing would benefit so much more.
Its ok to stretch on your own but tonight we did this with a partner who did 85% of it for you, not eaSY though, your partner takes your stretch to the limit, then as always with Mr Murray just a little bit more too.
Really really good, and certainly not what we had expected but so glad it happened..

That was a really good effective warm up tonight, thanks Gareth, hard but really good, the class thought the same.
Tonight was great , at last we got onto 3rd leval jumping right kick..awesome..
Everyone enjoyed it and we are getting more confident of what we are performing, Mr Murray has the knack of showing us the move once or twice, then thats it, weve got it, its then just up to us to perfect it and follow the technique through to its finish.
Any thoughts?
