Well tonights class was excellent, billy put us through our leval 1 stages in practice for the grading class.
he at times did try to catch us out, with his usual pauses before calling a move or not calling the number (1) similar to simon says magic word.
He also called moves and the guys performed them, however he then shouted no!! i said right kick, even though they made a right kick. this is designed to make the prokickers more confident in the fact they performed the move as asked.
at the end we went through our leval 1 phase again, this time really really quickly. I loved it, for some reason i was able to perform those moves at speed and under pressure.
I didn’t think i would have been capable under such speed, but hey like most things to do with prokick, ive astounded myself.
As per usual at the end, myself,ricky and raphael hit the punch bag taking it in turns to hold it, yes i know its better if we move our punches and kicks around the bag, but hey we are still learning.
Rickys got a good powerful punch and raphael has good punch combinations on the bag that you feel the other side. But its good to work together to help each other.
its good to see many more of the guys and girls chatting more, prokicks more than just that, there are certainly friendships to be made.
davy was mentioning some of us getting together for a bit of a celebration sometime after the gradfing, a brill idea, though drinking in a bars not my thing, i prefer a nice meal and a glass of wine, not really a drinker
..im the quiet type you see…
well now i am, but im sure we could sort something out to suit most people..but sure thats in the future..i reckon davys just dying to have a pint..lol
Whats next, well hopefully come sunday its congrats to Gary on his win and then monday night class..

Yeah daivd, its so good that we are able to always step it up a mark as we progress with training.
What a personal high it is to know what your able to acheive and know that your are becoming fitter and more able to perform moves that are part of training but also good for ya.

ok i started my classes last year, and yep i thought that losing a wee bit of weight would be good..
So after a while i noticed that i just stopped losing any which is when i realised that it was because i was building up muscles instead.
just wee ones of course, but i can feel my body muscles tightening and becoming more visable, now when i say visable, i can see em even if no one else can..lol
The stretching exercises are working, though i think i need something more intense as i do have an injury from many many years ago and this seems to get in the way of it sometimes.
its monday so im looking forward to class tonight, i have been working on my kicks more, but know i need many hours of practice, but still loving it and enjoying it which is more important, and heres me only a beginner, well Advanced beginner , (that sounds so good).
love the new comments section on the left hand panel, im just wondering if ill win the weeks free training..hhmmm
maybe i should just go onto every article and type the word hello….lol
Frans the person behind all this anyway, i fell foul of that earlier, never again. though i reckon im getting a kick from billy tonight as i said he was not the boss, though no doubt it will be part of the training or so he will say as im getting up of the ground.
So anyone else just started, or thinking of it?

i had a few messages from my youtube site of people saying they were thinking of giving it a go, and honestly i can reccommend it.
Look at me i would never have imagined that i of all people would be looking forward to something like this, its so addictive, especilly when you see and feel the changes in your body.
Crikey im even on the sparring claases, and that was just never me, until now..
