James Gillen Cements New Sponsor
A New sponsor for the largest kickboxing show staged in Ireland. Its set in stone, Billy Murray rattled a deal out with Mr George Emerson of Norman Emerson Group, the cornerstone of excellence. Founded by Norman Emerson senior in 1945 the company’s origins began as pioneers of sand extraction on Lough Neagh.
The reason Mr Emerson put the granite behind the show is for one of his employees Big James Gillen - Irish kickboxing champion. Big James will compete on the four man winner takes all K1 super heavyweight style event.
Billy Murray met with Mr Emerson today and said "It's great that another multi national company is getting behind the sport of kickboxing. It speaks volumes for the sport and I hope we and Big James can do them proud. Thanks for your help Mr Emerson."
