Belfast Lord Mayor Councillor Wallace Browne at the City HallBoxing legend honoured by the Belfast City Council

Councillor Wallace Browne, Marvelous Marvin Hagler , Stephane Cabrera,billy Murray and Mrs kay HaglerMarvelous Marvin Hagler received a civic reception to honour his first visit to Belfast, Northern Ireland. The Boxing legend was in Belfast as special guest from promoter Billy Murray, for Belfast man Gary Hamilton’s Hilton-sponsored world kickboxing title showdown with France’ unbeaten Mohammad Samir.
During Hagler's brief stay in Belfast, Marvin met and was honoured by the Belfast Lord Mayor Councillor Wallace Browne at the City Hall.
There were around 30 guests from 12 different Nation who all received gifts from the Lord Mayor, to record the mementos occasion.
Marvelous Marvin Hagler was accompanied by his wife Kay who spoke with Belfast cities officials during their visit.
