team on the way to GenevaNorthern Ireland’s two newest kickboxing stars return undefeated from their first ever international meet in Switzerland. The pair – Bill Morrow and Philip Parker – both walked away with commendable draws in their bouts on Thursday in Geneva.


Morrow pushed a tough Tunisian fighter Fathallah all the way in his
encounter and was unlucky not to take the tie, and Parker also looked a fine shout for the future as he battled hard against Michael Zuber from Geneva. The pairs coach Billy Murray was delighted with their performance.

"They were outstanding in very tough circumstances," he said. "TheyAnd the same again A drawboth took the fights at short notice, flew straight to Geneva and had little time to properly prepare for what is a very intimidating International event. "I’m delighted that both of them return undefeated because let me tell you – a draw there is as good as a win at home. That event picks the cream of the amateur crop from across Europe and my lads can
hold their heads high. They need to knuckle down now and get back to training for the Kickmas Box."

The multi national games in Geneva are held in December every year by top Swiss promoter, Carl Emery along with team Geneva - the team who are all regular visitors to Belfast events - former world champion Carl Emery and team will be back in town for Kickmas - they have already booked their front row seats for the years big event - KICKmas...

The Ulster Hall show is next on December 17 for the second annual Kickmas Box. This
year, Belfast’s world featherweight champions Gary Hamilton will defend his title for the final time
before moving up a weight.
