New ProKick fighter event

The new wantabesProKick has started 2004 with a search for the next generation of Kickboxing stars.
A new fighters’ class started at the gym group’s Wilgar Street HQ last week and all 28 would-be champions will have a chance to pit their wits in the ring within weeks. A huge event has been pencilled in for April 4 that will see all those who are ready climb between the ropes.
“This is tremendously exciting,” said ProKick chief coach Billy Murray. “Any of the 28 have the chance to make an impact in kickboxing very quickly. Not all will make it – after four weeks of the class there will be an opportunity for people to opt out. It’s a big step-up training for the ring rather than training to keep fit or for self-defence and not everyone is ready for it. But those that are will be in the ring on April 4. There could be a future world champion amongst this lot. ”
The location of the event is being kept under wraps. Click back to here at prokick.com for further details in the coming weeks.
