Free Kickboxing event - May 14

Tony Ruddy, Director of Ark Housing Association and former World Kickboxing Champion, Billy Murray, get kitted out for the 2005 '4 Peaks (Ireland) Challenge for Homelessness' Ark Housing Association has joined forces with the Simon Community Tony Ruddy, Director of Ark Housing Association and World Featherweight Kickboxing Champion, Gary Hamilton, test equipment ahead of the  2005 '4 Peaks (Ireland) Challenge for Homelessness' Northern Ireland and Shelter (NI) to launch the 2005 ‘4 Peaks (Ireland) Challenge for Homelessness’. The challenge will take participants to the four highest peaks in Ireland: Mweelrea in Connaught, Lunaquilla in Leinster, Carrauntoohil in Munster and finally Slieve Donard in Newcastle, Co, Down.

Joining the challenge on Thursday 30 June 2005 - will be former World Kickboxing Champion, Billy Murray and the current World Featherweight Kickboxing Champion, Gary Hamilton. Both Billy and Gary will be joining the 20 man strong team to tackle the ‘4 Peaks’ and raise much needed funds for this often stereotyped and forgotten problem.

Meanwhile, you can secure tickets for the upcoming FREE kickboxing show in Belfast.
The event, on May 14 at the Park Avenue Hotel, will be a fundraiser for the Four Peaks Walk that Gary Hamilton and Billy Murray will attempt over 72 hours from June 30.
The marathon hike will be a fundraiser for homeless charities.
In a bid to add to the money raised, all those who receive free tickets for the May 14 event – which will see at least three champions take to the ring – will be invited to make a donation on entry direct to the charity organisers.
