A Great Result From A Good Days Training

Rising young coach and promoter Darren DouganOne of Ulster top amateur fighters Darren Dougan stopped in at the ProKick gym in east Belfast for a Sunday afternoon sparring and training session. After the trainning was over it was down to business and here's the outcome:

The Next Generation series of shows that have proved so successful in Belfast over the last 18months are heading out on the road again, first up is Carrickfergus on August 28th and hopefully back to The Loup on October 15th.
Rising young coach and promoter Darren Dougan is set to host his second Next Generation event – providing a platform for the best of new Irish novices – October 15th has been penciled-in for the Loup, Magherafelt, Co. Derry.
If its to go ahead, at least 20 beginners will battle it out on the card with a bigger name draw taking top billing.
“I’m very excited about this,” said Dougan. “Our Golden Dragon Martial Arts Club in Loup has been growing at a tremendous rate over the last year, especially since staging my first event back in May. We have 80 members now. There are a vast amount of kickboxing fans not being catered for in this part of the country, all crying out for live shows. I've learnt from my first event and now we’re hoping to make this next event an even bigger success than the first, once we receive the green light.”
