The pair underwent an intensive training session conducted by former two-time Irish league winner with the Blues. Young Gun recently scored with his first title win for the Celtic Super welterweight WKN title last month at the Park Ave hotel.
The Glentoran manager Millar, was keen to get his full-timers back to basics, he had this to say:
“I wanted something different for the players again this season, especially the full-time players - I saw an improvement in their fitness last time the boys where at ProKick,” he went on to say.
“I asked Billy about the possibility of training players and he put the whole thing together without a fuss. I really enjoyed the session last time out and the players did too. There is a fun side to it too but I think the players knew by the end of the hour they had been through a good routine.
“It’s a long-term thing I’m looking at. I want to add variety to training and I know kickboxing will give the players a different kind of fitness and interest.”
