“Archaeologist Stefanie McMullen - finds plenty of bones to dig at ProKick”

Carryduff girl Stefanie McMullen spends her days digging holes and her nights digging herself out of them.Carryduff girl Stefanie McMullen spends her days digging holes and her nights digging herself out of them.
The 27-year-old Archaeologist is hoping her night work will soon put her on the map – the sporting map that is.
A promising kickboxing talent, Stefanie is keen as keen to trade kicks and punches as she is historical artefacts.
An Orange belt in the sport, Stefanie is contemplating stepping into the ring later this year when her Prokick Gym hosts Ladykillers III on October 31.
The former Queen’s University student said: “I love kickboxing, it gives me a good release from looking for bones and lost treasure all day long! I have the prefect job and the perfect sport and I want to succeed in both.
“I’ve been thinking about competing for a while,” she added.
“To be honest, I wasn’t so keen to stand in the ring and have someone throw punches in my direction. But once I started sparring I felt a great adrenaline rush, something similar to coming across an important archaeological find.”
Stefanie is currently working on a number of sites in Northern Ireland after a spell in Egypt where she discovered an elephant burial site.
