Mr Mervyn Elder, director of the Belfast city council clients services
bows out after 31 years as the top honcho in the capital city of
Northern Ireland.
Billy Murray and Gary Hamilton were invited as guests to a City
Hall gathering. There, Murray and Hamilton paid tribute to the man
who played a major role in securing recognition for Prokick and
the sport of kickboxing by the Belfast City council.
"On a personal note I'd like to commend Mr Elder on the work
that he has done over the years in helping bring kickboxing in line
with the City council guidelines for the support for sport programme."
Said Prokick 's head man, Murray. "And all of us at Prokick
wish him much success in the future and look forward to seeing him
at our further events.
