Scwarzkopf’s Brendan Thompson withMillenniums forums event manager Paul Mason and Billy Murray.The show, which is the first ever co-production to happen in the north west between the respected ProKick Group and local hero Darren Dougan, will sound its first bell on Saturday September 29.

 “This is exciting news for kickboxing in the north west,” said co promoter and fighter Dougan,
“The spread of talent up here is remarkable and the hunger for fight fans for big, proper shows grows all the time. I have no doubt that the show will be dynamite. It’s the start of what I hope will be a long, happy association in major events with Prokick.”

It’s the third time recently that Schwarzkopf have been involved after they also backed a show at the Falls Leisure Centre and the more recent Italian Job II.

Company area director Brendan Thompson, a keen kickboxing fan, said he was delighted to continue the links with the sport, especially with the involvement of ProKick.
“Schwarzkopf are a grade A company and we’re happy to be associated with another grade A promotion run by Billy Murray’s group. This is an ongoing investment from us.”
