Noade stopping Gary

Champion Gary Noade Gary Noade is not turning pro just yet, but it will still happen says the Downpatrick two time World champion. The Downpatrick prokick fighter has been offered another world title fight and it takes place this Saturday in Glasgow. The silver headed dynamo has been offered the chance to make the hat trick of world title belts and who would blame him not to turn to the paid ranks just jet.
His coach Billy Murray received a call from promoter Gary Langford at the beginning of the week to confirm if Noade had already applied for his pro license, but despite having done a medical and his MRI, he has not yet forwarded his application WKN head office in France.
Noade says, “I’m fighting fit and ready to go and face Aberdeen’s Douglas Morrison this is a fight I always wanted to get on, I’ll knock him out within four round.” said the current kickboxing world champion. The most important thing for Noade is that the fight is for the Full-Contact welterweight title, the title he first set his sights on as an amateur and only now is getting the chance to prove himself as the true champion of the amateur welterweights.
Gary was hoping to make his pro debut against the former super welterweight champion Stuart McOwan, but sources closer to the former Scottish world champ say he is not taking any fights at the moment as he considers retirement. McOwan is still ranked in the top twenty of his division and Noade would like very much to square up to him at a later date.
Contender Boyd Boyd’s battle of Britain - Saintfield’s Brian Boyd is also in Glasgow this week for his attempt to add the British super welterweight title to his collection. The current Irish champion will take on defending Champion Steve Kitchner of Scotland. The Dundela football club’s left winger Boyd has had the pleasure of seeing Kitchner compete in three fights and winning on all three occasions, so Boyd knows he will be no push over, especially on his home turf.

Big James GillenMeanwhile team mate James Gillen is back in action for the first time since he won the Irish super heavyweight title in October last year, he faces Derek Lane of Inverness.
