FIGHTERS, TRAINERS AND SPECTATORS…
WELCOME TO BELFAST

Well Tonights Fighters Pads Class was an intense hour long of hard fast action which really placed the fighters under pressure..
But they can handle it, their fitness regime has seen to that…

Tonight I ran from Holywood to the Prokick Gym then Back home afterwards…super, yep im happy im capable of making such a run, but on my way back all I had running over in my head was how hard these guys have been training and how dedicated and concentrated they all are on their ultimate goal…

Takes me back to last year when I was going for it like never before for my first fight…

Ok the likes of Mark Bird our resident European Champion has been there so many times before, yet still trains along with these guys and as hard..Marks opponent had been changed last minute to Danial Zahra (Malta) whop last fought Gary Fullerton..no doubt Mark will show everyone just what he can do..Best of Luck Mark

His younger Brother David will no doubt give us a few brilliant combos when he hits the ring on Sunday. David is our youngest fighter but certainly doesnt show it, Davids ability to switch fighting styles to suit any bout is great and like his brother has shown so much fitness and relishes the challenges ahead…

Stuart Jess has been matched with a worthy opponent for this looked forward to bout, his fight was thankfully brought about Last minute by the Billy O’Sullivan Gym in Waterford who also bring with him a new opponent for Michael Swann..His original opponent David Hamill has had to pull out this week..Unfortunate but it happens in this sport, hard training etc can occasionaly result in the odd injury..

Greig Anderson has came on leaps and bounds and I dont think anyone has any worries about his ability in the ring come Sunday. Noel Shepard takes his fight right at the last minute after an opponent matching his experience and style was found.

A really good bout to look forward to is James Gillen, thias guy has the experience and Power to meet Michael Kearns, a 7 times MMA fighter…This ones gonna be a belter..

No stranger to Prokick and our fights will be Mikey Shields from Scotland and is fighting out of the Prokick corner against tough English fighter Shawn Burton from Lincoln Kickboxing Club..Certainly a show stopper this one..

Ann Gallagher and Ursula Agnew are simply buzzing with Energy and ready and waiting for the day..

Best of Luck to Gary Fullerton in his Irish Title bout against Oliver McCarthy..Both guys will be really gunning for this one..

Sorry to hear that Andrew McCrearys opponent has dropped out, he was training so hard, so if anyones got a last minute opponent then contact us QUICK…

I could go on and on as our guys have really shown their ability to take a fight in the ring..

Hey Billy,

Cant wait, Ill be there!! Will the show be streamed live on prokick.com? If so ill send out an email to all Galway fighers across the clubs who wont be there so they can see how a proper show is put on.

Man, that is actually tempting but i dunno. Whats his weight and experience? The fact he has a title makes it a little daunting! . I’m 6’3 And 102 kg, but don’t have much kickboxing experience, only really what i have from MMA. Is there a purse?

Hi Mike - still trying to nail a fight down for him ( James) it is very difficult to get heavy weights - but hey if you fancy a go then he’s on the card and you’ll have a very close view.
