ROCKY DESI HELPS OUT”

LAST WEEK ProKick News broke the news that ROCKY BALBOA has nothing on Belfast pensioner Desi McCartney. The 61-year-old aiming to go back between the ropes in his native city on March 25th at The Falls Leisure centre – two years after making his debut.
Well, we can reveal that the elder statesman of the Prokick Gym is in tip-top shape for his return. Now Rocky Desi is helping out the young guns too - as seen here passing some tips out to - Cocky Alexander White ahead for his WKN European title challenge in France. White will join world champion Gary Hamilton who has just signed a deal to defend his featherweight crown in Toulouse France.
"He is a strong kid is Alexander, said Desi "But he need to do more road work ,I thought he was a bit sluggish". added the Grandfather, " I'll be having words with his coach Mr Langford over the next couple of days, on how I think Alexander needs to improve if he is to win the European title in France".
Desi' final words: “I’m out on the roads every morning before 6am and that’s before I go to work. When my work is done I go back to the gym and spar with fighters half my age and even younger. If Alexander or any other fighter wants to be a champion this is the type of thing that needs to done!"
