National Championships will be held on May 18-19, 2001 at the Royal
Plaza Hotel & Trade Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
The event is a NASKA AAAA-Rated World Tour event and a KRANE AAAAA-Rated
World Tour event. All schools, styles and organizations are invited.

Championship On A K1 Event
Sergeio Batterelli from Brazil is in final negotiation with the K1
corporation to have a K1 even in Brazil and a heavyweight world championship
as part of the event. Sergeio Batterelli is no stranger to big time
promotions, he is the main person for the no holes barred, and the
kickboxing events for all of Brazil. More to follow.

in London has been postponed. The show has been moved from Sun 29th

Professional
boxing is returning to Dublin.
The
Burlington Hotel was the venue for the return of professional boxing
to Dublin. It's been nearly 2 years since the paid ranks have performed
there. Friday April 20th saw a packed house at the Burlington Hotel
for a black tie dinner and for the boxing enthusiast desert was
a four-fight card. There were many dignitaries at ringside but one
stood out from all, Mathew McConaghy a Hollywood actor, which co-stars
along with Jennifer Lopez in the latest blockbuster The Wedding
Planner. This event was "Boyce and Evans Promotions". The co-promoter
on the ground was Brian Peters who did a fantastic job filling the
arena.
It was
a four-fight card, topping the bill was Jim (The Pink Panther) (Dublin)
faced Jason Collins (Sheffield) one of Brendan Ingles fighters.
